I tried tennis once when I was a kid. Noticed that I sucked at all kinds of ball games and left it at that.

imho, it makes much more ergonomic sense to play pingpong..
Ping pong ftw. Had a table at work for the longest time. Less running, less movement. Much better fit for that sedimentary lifestyle.

But, tennis really feels like hitting a nail with a hammer, except the hammer is your own arm..
I've just been reading that technique helps, but you're still doing something that requires so much force with a really long lever..
