At least you managed to hit the ball some of the times?
I tried tennis once when I was a kid. Noticed that I sucked at all kinds of ball games and left it at that.

Ping pong ftw. Had a table at work for the longest time. Less running, less movement. Much better fit for that sedimentary lifestyle.

well.. we're quite sedentary regardless of what we play these days,

But,  tennis really feels like hitting a nail with a hammer,   except the hammer is your own arm..

I've just been reading that technique helps,   but you're still doing something that requires so much force with a really long lever..

This is definitely above the design specification of the wrist..

wrist injury seems very common. even among the pros,  who you'd assume have the best technique and the greatest interest in their own hand health..

Tennis is demanding AF! Also really boring to watch IMO, but gotta respect it. I would have thought knee injuries be just as common.
Personally wouldnt advise anybody play it   :))

Yeah me too, almost, I was decent at basketball when I was younger. But I never kept it up I lost interest in everything eventually at one point as a kid.
I never kept any of my cool toys from my childhood either because I would just one day be fed up with them and get rid of them. Stupid brain. Had so many awesome Micro Machine things.

There are limits..   the torque caused by a long lever action in tennis is the problem.

It's that big-font sig of yours. It's out of balance with the normal-sized text in your posts. It looks needy, like people have to notice it or it'll diminish you somehow. It's the sig equivalent of Caps Lock.

Make your sig a normal size and you'll soon find you can do anything—and that peeps actually pay more attention to stuff when they don't feel like they're being beaten over the head with it.
