More expensive everything.
« on: Mon, 05 May 2025, 14:37:49 »
OMG

Tp4 snoozed on buying a proper wall mountable pull up bar, now the prices are unaffordable.  >:D

Alot of the inventory also disappeared on amazon overnight, presumably due to the closing of deminimis exemption on low sticker import path.

"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

It was all in the Project 2025 playbook to eliminate the middle class and subjugate those in poverty into essentially working class slaves. It should not be a surprise to anyone.

Fohat, Understanding that they're corrupt is LESS-important than understanding that the Democrats are Equally corrupt. Pot meets Kettle Black.

When you do "your" back and forth on "their" terms, it gets the nation no where.

You keep saying dumb **** like this that is objectively and obviously false with zero reasoning, logic, or information to back it up.
What you say is simply and unequivocally true of American politics in 2025. It also trivializes the actual corruption, cruelty, and damage by downplaying the out in the open illegal activities and ignoring of laws and constitutional rights the current administration engages in on a daily biases. Dems and Reps and not the same at all, and if you believe that in this climate, you are a fool.

Your belief is entirely mainstream media. You know nothing about the history of American imperialism, and yet with no evidence you claim there is a right side, and it's OUR side.

Literally, no one outside of America believes that. But of course, the whole world is wrong.

I don't read or watch the news, and never said any of that. There is no 'right' side, but there is good and evil, and the Trump admin clearly upholds evil and cruelty more than any other side. It is blatant and clear to see unless you are A.Racist B.Brainwashed C.Billionaire/Corporation with self-interests
I know tp is not a billionaire, so there's only 2 choices left. Which one are you,tp?

TP4 imagines that being a relentlessly contrarian nihilist makes himself look clever.

The Maga cult represents the unthinking, dis-enfranchised zombie poor. Yet, We... all have far more in common with the-Cult of the poor than we do of the Lords.

All Lords are racist, opportunist, narrow boundary fools. There is absolutely no difference between the Democrat and Republican Lord.

As for Cults, the Democrat cult is identical in every way except they eat slightly less glue.

Don't you hate how those jackasses keep trying to blame the fallout from all the problems that they keep stirring up - on Joe Biden?

Yeah, right

Yeah, right

Joe Biden nearly started a Nvclear war.

The only reason you think otherwise, is because mainstream news has brainwashed the American Public on the situation of our Ukra1n involvement.

Under international law, America providing weapons and intelligence to vkraine, is actually an OPEN WAR with Rvssia. WE are AT WAR. Trump saved America and the World, regardless of how you color it. That is a fact. We don't like the guy, but on this singular, and arguably very important issue, The world has to thank the idiot. In an open war, Rvssia has the right-of-way to strike/ retaliate against any target on the US mainland.

How come everyone's calling it cold war, or rvssian aggression, while ignoring our own American Imperialism that happened AFTER the end of the Soviet Union. America deliberately sponsored the Civil Coup in Vkrain, pushing them into war.

THIS is the history lesson conveniently deleted from the public's collective memory.

In connection with the MDGs, he had first been appointed special adviser to the UN Secretary-General in 2002 during the term of Kofi Annan.--

I cannot even afford to play GTA6, how are they gonna keep me happy and placated when I'm unable to play GTA6 when it comes out?
THINK, POLITICIANS, THINK!

USA needs a new PC program to get high-end PCs to poor consumers to keep them happy and distracted. It pays for itself when they don't riot and loot when GTA6 comes out.

And there it is, when presented with evidence.

Just like the Unthinking Maga cult one profusely denounced only a sentence ago, he tucks tail and run, before reviewing evidence, putting in any ounces of thought, not even an attempt at updating facts or lessons of history.

This is disease that's most dangerous in our era. The feeble mind and its hypocrisy.

It would only have taken an hour of your time, an hour not to be so outdated and politically stupid.

Literally, no one outside of America believes that. But of course, the whole world is wrong.

You keep saying mainstream media, so just who exactly are you getting your news from? Non-mainstream media? Youtube? Tik Tok?
Because while you keep decrying mainstream media believing these other "experts" and platforms is actually more of an issue than mainstream media. I'm not saying mainstream doesn't lie, but in most cases it's lies by omission, hence getting multiple sources is important. Non-mainstream has even less/no integrity.

I worked in non-mainstream media, it's a large part of the reason I left. Most of it is just "I heard ____", which just gets repeated and manipulated over and over without anyone bothering to verify anything at all, it's just an echo chamber vying for views/listeners. This is why they never retract anything or mention sources, they know if you search (you won't) you will end up finding the same baseless rumors as them. This is the reason you had horse paste reiterated over and over again as a Covid cure. Alex Jones is the perfect example of this, he had several people just browsing online for shock stories that fit his topic and admitted in court he never verified anything.

I posted a video link, Watch it. It's a bit more than an hour. But it clears up the large gap in world view people have.

Guinea pigs are only $60 wow, what a bargain, it's only slightly smaller than a cat. Cats cost way more, and higher food costs.

Guinea pigs are only $60

I used to work with a younger guy (born in New York) whose family came from the mountains in Ecuador and had grown guinea pigs for generations. He had summered there with his grandparents as a child.

They were a food item and while they were usually shared between people, at a large celebration like a family wedding the patriarch of the family would get a whole one to himself.

Thats how you end up with parasites and/or some form of rodent aids.

HIV came about through the bushmeat trade, as they cut into the jungles of africa for Timber, the workers ate the local monkeys, etc, BAM zoonotic transmission, SIV evolution->AIDS.

Not this situation. This was a long established and well-tended farm that grew numerous traditional crops high in the Andes (well above the tree line).

Every exposure is a zoonotic pathway. And if you're raising them, they're unsanitary for crowding +pooping where they eat, Leave animals alone.
