Dell also released a $350 USD 27" OLED late last month - Alienware 27 240Hz QD-OLED Gaming Monitor - AW2726DM.  Looks like a solid option, I can't move up to a 32" due to desk space and don't like to have to pan and scan when I'm gaming, now if it's like Expd. 33 or D4/PoE I could do it - but playing GZW and EFT I need to see all with in tighter line of sight.

QD oled for 350 is pretty sweet

Tp4 is hoping they'd upgrade oled soon to the ipad tandem line.

It's otherwise perfect.

Don't think an active heatsink is really that big of a deal if they'd just make it big enough.

Tp4 remembrs when PS1 emulation was only for very high end PCs,  Pentium4 4ghz+

Now it's near perfect + crt beam simulator + xbrz + disable dithering.

Megaman X4, probably the most perfect Megaman game. So balanced in play mechanix, though a bit on the easy side.

It doesn't really make sense that oled monitors are this expensive.  When Oled TVs are orders of magnitude cheaper.

(Attachment Link)

been sayin' this for years.
X4 is everything X3 was, but with the power of CD which means bigger sprite files, more animations, better music, and anime cutscenes!

I was able to crawl r/hardwareswap and the SFFHub discord to piece together a 5080FE x 9800X3D build recently, all so I could get wiped on Tarkov and re-addicted to Factorio: Space Age, once again.

People who actually blow up stereo amplifiers, how loud are they listening, that's insane, 5 watt is way over 85db, where 70 is pretty loud and uncomfortable.

Listen to Tp4,  BUY GPUS NOW.

9070xt is the only GPU that makes any sense. Current sales $630-750.

No other GPU makes any sense Performance vs. Price wise.

DO NOT buy 5070ti unless it's $750 or less.

DO NOT buy a 5080, those 12pins WILL BURN, it's only a matter of time, nothing can stop it short of you soldering the psu side together into a 12gauge.

DO NOT buy anything slower than a 5070ti.

NEVER EVER touch a 5060ti.

When the economy Xplodz, GPUs are going to be far more scarce, and cost way more.

It's almost guaranteed the Economy Xlodz..

Also buy motherboards now,  You can get a great board for $120-150.  Tp4 recommends Gigabyte, good ram compatibility.

Check the vrm table, make sure it has at least 500 amp configuration. 12x40, 8x70, etc.

DO NOT BUY the upcoming 9070GRE,  it's got gimped ram. 12GB, 192-bit bus, very low bandwidth (for a modern card).

Basically another 5060ti to 4070super-ish lvl performance.

Even the Old 7900gre had 16GB @ 576GB/s on 256bit

The ram will hold it back when you go higher res.

UNLESSSSS,  it's $200,   which is imposssssible.   Even @ $300,  you're better off buying 9070xt.

Tp4, You don't need a 98" Qm8k. The sony argb backlights aren't even out yet.

Tp4 thinks people will start to realize how stupid it is to download 24bit music now that SSD space is @ a premium.

One of the most insane waste of computing power and space. 16bit 44100hz, All you ever need.

Hrrm... Samsung's new monitor, 4k 360hz + 1080p 680hz dual mode.

This uses DSC, Tp4 doesn't understand why they couldn't go higher.

If they're gonna use DSC,  they should be doing 4K 643hz,  and 1080p 1352hz.

So mad right now.  Why are they sandbagging this, JUST DO IT.  It might need active cooling, so what?
