Voted for blues and tkl! I prefer blacks over reds, but love clicky blues the mostest! Interesting results!

I'm a 104 kinda guy. I need my tenkey because of my line of work, and I don't think I could survive without it. I essentially use it every time I type a number out of habit, and the only reason I know where the numbers 1-0 are on the top is because of starcraft XD

I kind of hate this fact too, because TKL boards look a lot cooler for the most part.

That said, I chose 104 and reds.

At the moment, browns. I just love the effortlessness of the switches ^^. As for layout, it's either full or tkl. I'd use a full if I had space, but I don't so tkl it is. I also need my arrow keys so nothing less than 75% (I think?) for me.

Anyways, my favorite so far is Cherry MX Brown, though I only had chances to test a Cherry MX Black (Steelseries 6Gv2) and a Cherry MX Blue (though, does the Razer Blackwidow even counts?).

On a side note I'm still struggling between brown and red, I like both equally but I think I like red a tiny tiny bit better.

As for size I also agree tenkeyless looks cooler and I wish I can use tenkeyless, but for my line of work (3D Graphic) number pad is used a lot to input X, Y, Z coordinates and scales. So I'm forced to use full size >___>

You may want to remove the results from "RedditMechanicalkeyboardforbiggerpolls" and "RedditMKisnowlargestKBforumonthePlanet" from the results.

I voted publically for green and larger than fullsize. If I had enough greens to put in my G80-8113, you know what I'd do.

I also notice the qsanity's vote has been recorded twice.

I've only tried the four most common MX switches, but out of those Blues are definitely my favourite. From the sounds of it, I think I would probably like Ergo-Clears too, but yet to have a chance to try those. Hopefully when the the GH60 is complete I can work on sourcing some parts for Ergo-Clears to put onto that.

In terms of layout, I like TKL and 60%. TKL is more practical, but 60% just looks so small and neat. The only layouts with a numpad that I like are Cherry G80-1800/11800/11900 type layouts.

I think most people haven't had a chance to try greens yet. I only went by the 4 common switch types, since those are the only ones I've tried =(

I go back and forth with browns, blues and reds. I love the tenkeyless keyboards though. I never thought i would love the reds as much as i do. They are great. If i had to choose one keyboard it would be a tenkeyless cherry mx blue.

Yeah red took me a long time to get used to. Now I'm still jumping back and forth on red vs brown for typing. Gaming wise red wins hands down.

Though I still think it sux that the spammer ruined the results for MX Blue and MX Green.

I only voted, and did so publicly, in the size poll, definitely TKL there. As for the switches, I've only really given 3 a chance (Blue, Clear, White) and that just doesn't seem like enough to really say for certain which is my favorite. It is kind of hard to say when you've only tried 1/3 of the options..

It seems as though, even discounting the spam, that tactile is more liked than linear. And non-clicky more than clicky. I would not have expected either of those. The size poll is exactly what I'd expect though. Strange.

What about the other gaming form factor, full size or tenkeyless but with extra macro buttons on the left or top. Actually those are my fave for everything since it allows you to add any key presses from hard to reach positions to the left side for quick access.

I can answer size (tenkeyless) but not the switch. I was only able to try out Cherry MX Blues, Blacks, Browns, and Reds (Blacks were a nightmare) momentarily along with some very worn out Topres and some White Alps switches (White Alps was very, very clicky, almost a little too much for me so I went with MX Blues). I need to try out some switches for a longer time.
