this will be useful when bigger cores come out.. but on something like ivy bridge, it's no more effective than MUCH cheaper coolers.

I have to agree with tp4tissue.   On a 77w-rated CPU, something like a Cooler Master Hyper 212 series, at 30 bucks, is a better value.
