Hi, Guys. Recently friend gave me a red Hammerhead Pro-Series, 4 channel. Enjoying! I know I will need a new li-poly 3.7 battery eventually. I know NOTHING about such things. Can I just order generic 3.7 bat from a hobby shop or can I go up a notch in power or longevity? If so, what do I ask for?
Thanks for any help!

about the barreries, there's a few things that determine. The first is the voltage, which is dependant on battery chemistry. Replace a lithium ion with another lithium ion, and you sholud be okay.
Secondly, there's the form factor (the size and shape). If the battery is too large, it won't fit! if it's too small it probably won't ahve enough capacity to work
Lastly, there's other electrical issues like the "c factor" which is related to the amount of current (and power) the battery can output. you can damage your batteries, or set them on fire if you try to draw too much current from them in your helicopter.
If it's in a standard size (like CR2, 17670, etc) then it's relatively easy to order replacements, but many batteries are just the cell in a small protective baggie. Ordering replacements for these is harder to find one that are the right size/shape.
Anyway, I don't know any specifics about what cells these take (technically, it's a "cell", and a "battery" has multiple "cells") or whatever, but what I said should hold true for cells in general.
