I believe all of the artisans are in cahoots and have sales on the same day so that (most) people cant try to get into all of the sales (for financial reasons)

Artisans are really a conspiracy and social experiment to test us.

And we failed.

Due to the recent depreciation of our crappy currency against US dollar (a 25% increase), I am not able to afford artisans anymore. Ha ha .. it is indeed a conspiracy but I am glad to not be able to participate, LOL.

I think a lot of people on geekhack who live in the US often times can't afford artisans anymore.  :))

Yeah the Aussie dollar has dropped like 30% against the greenback in the last year, it's pretty much killed new purchases for me. It's good in a way though, I've pared my collection down to just the items I really value and now I'm actually thinking of building a new board after months of feeling discouraged.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
