Keyboard Sleeves/Bags
« on: Fri, 09 October 2015, 16:21:58 »
Hello everyone!

First off I just want to say hi to the community. It seems like everyone is pretty helpful and kind. Excited to learn more and eventually contribute here!

Secondly, I was wondering if there was a good place to get a custom keyboard sleeve made. I have PM'd some folks on reddit but haven't gotten any response yet. I have my first custom coming (a b.mini from winkeyless) and was looking for a snug fit sleeve. From the dimensions it looks like I would need to size up to the TKL sleeves if I were to grab one from 1up. However, I'd rather not have my board sliding around in the sleeve and would prefer it to be a snug fit.

Anyone got any advice? I did some quick searching but didn't see too much. I apologize if there is already some resources out there for this.

Thanks in advance!

Man I should consider that. I usually wrapped up fragile stuff with my used pyjamas.

If you're not using Frette towels, you are doing it wrong.

OP, check in the Artisan subforum. There are all kinds of talented geekhackers that make stuff by request. :)

Yeah, the artisan thread is a good place to check. Also, if I recall, there was an Interest Check about some keyboard cases, so you might be able to PM him about it, and get one made for yourself.

If you want something a bit more rigid, look at musician keyboard cases.  Some of the smaller ones are quite nice.  I use one for my IBM M.
