Concrete Blocks.. Civil Engi-Halp
« on: Sat, 17 September 2016, 07:38:21 »
Emphasis on Flatness.. Need flatness

Buy premade and drill holes..

Vs....

DIY Cast

Thoughts?

Do ya'll think premade is cast more _flatly_ than DIY.. since they prolly got better molds?

Is it hard to drill concrete without cracking it ?..  does a cast hole work better/ more rigid-ly/ structurally sound than a drilled hole ?

Not much to go on but drilling holes in masonry is no fun.

If you can get pavers in the right size and shape, and you only need a few small holes, drill.

If you know how to cast your own and need many, that will be easier.

To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;
