HHKB - is it possible to fix USB hub power problem?

Is it possible to fix this low power problem for USB hub?
I know there is HASU controller, but you lose USB hub..
I would like to use this USB hub for pendrives, external HDD etc

you can probably find a usb hub controller chip that will fit inside the hhkb. Then jump all the wires.

Alright, thanks. I thought there would be solution there already, I don't want to play soldering etc too risky:)

I don't understand whats the point of selling keyboard with usb hub where ts not working from the beginning...?

Those USB hubs can't even power a USB 2.0 only thing it's useful is a wireless adapter for a mouse.
