Going rate for a switch swap?
« on: Mon, 08 April 2019, 09:08:17 »
Whats up folks haven't been around these parts much lately. Any idea what the average cost is these days to switches swapped out. I have a tada68 and am thinking about swapping the browns with some zealios.

Or maybe just buying a new PCB and let someone do the soldering to get it all setup. I couldn't find any general numbers so thought I would put a feeler out before I started PMing artisans I found in the wiki.

I charge typically $20ish for build and repair services + shipping.

Wow thats it? Good to know I am in the PNW as well.

So if I just ordered from kbdfans a diy kit and sent to you, you would build the whole thing for around $20?

But do you trust that it won't come back with sriracha in the switches?  :p
