Met a Spice (taste) addict today.
« on: Thu, 09 May 2019, 21:23:24 »
Was waiting in line for dem Veggie Spring Rolls @ the thai place..

This guy was there eating a bowl of noodles next to a tupperware full of peppers.

He ate the peppers every other bite between noodles, until he starts to sweat.. Then kept going.. didn't see any cameras out, He wasn't making a utube challenge or anything.

I don't understand..  didn't want to ask, because he looked EXTREMELY serious doing it.. I was afraid he may be dangerous.. Just got my Spring rolls and left promptly.

What do y'all suppose was going down ? masochism ?

**** feels good af bby, best part is when your lips are still humming after the meal.

worst part is that your butthole is much more sensitive than your facehole.

I concur with Noisy. I have the problem where my mouth likes things that are so spicy they hurt my stomach.

His body may have been reacting automatically even though he wasn't *consciously* feeling pain.
Maybe they're waiting for gasmasks and latex to get sexy again.

The world has become a weird place.

Used to be able to eat jalapenos straight from the jar or fresh. Now even a Papa John's Pepperoncini gives me hiccups.

I can still tolerate and enjoy spicy food very well. I've done things like make "the hamburger," a concoction consisting of one habenero pepper chopped up and mixed into a burger patty and topped with pepperjack cheese, a cup of fresh jalapeno peppers and some (really hot) habanero sauce. I couldn't actually feel the heat, but the fumes nearly suffocated me.  ;D

I just can't eat peppers outside of bell peppers straight anymore.

Capsaicin actually has many health benefits. Lowers blood pressure, helps with arthritis, boosts your metabolism, and ironically aids in digestive health.

These claims have been rigorously tested.

I don't doubt there's some benefit,  but there is no firm data on How and What, YET .

huh, never bothered to read about this. i always thought that an excessive amount of spicy food looked like a painful experience both outside and in.
