Spindrift Sparkling Water 'cause it has actual fruit juice in it and tastes 100% better than LaCrap.

Your parents are doing you an extremely important favour.

Sparkling water is better, but personally gourmet tonic water is so good.

I found the cans liquid evaporated due to how hot it was in my garage

Mineral water, fresh orange juice and self-made apple spritzer (from carbonated mineral water and fresh apple juice). Also, hot chocolate. I make it with fresh, full fat and condensed milk, 99% chocolate and 100% cocoa powder, freshly ground cinnamon, nutmeg and dried vanilla sticks. Pinch of salt and agave syrup as sweetener.

Some days I drink black tea, usally Yorkshire Gold.

Hey, you asked.

But OJ has tons of sugar! At least it's got nutritious fruit in it too.

I drink water and unsweetened green tea mostly, but if I were to cheat I'd choose "Mexican" Coke. They make it with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup, which is the way they used to make it in the long ago, so I understand. I've found it in a grocery store next to the Goya stuff. I'm not sure it's still around but I was finding Raspberry Coke last year, which was also made with cane sugar instead of corn syrup. So good.

Also a big fan of Inca Cola (Peruvian.) I think it tastes more like bubblegum than cola. I also love Uludağ Gazoz (Turkish.) I can't describe what it tastes like except very sweet and definitely not cola. You can't go wrong with any flavor of Jarritos, really (actual Mexican soda)...

OK, I'll stop being a bad sugar influence now.

Those coca cola freestyle machines are the best ! I can try all the flavours of grape soda all in one.

That depends on the water system. Some municipal water is excellent.

TL;DR Live at higher altitudes where there is not much upstream of your water supply.
"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

Or live somewhere your tap water is spring water. Like Scottish Highlands.

Is it really though? If you did a double blind test and chilled the tap water/bottled water, do you think you could tell the difference?
(On the other hand, boiled water tasted very funky to me after I froze/thawed it).

I can strongly smell the chlorine coming off my local tap water, and it definitely adds a very unpleasant taste as well. If you fill a tall glass it gets a nose of chlorine scent like some terrible wine.

Same for me. Chlorine scent with notes of lead. Even rinsing my mouth makes me gag. I try and buy water by the gallon for drinking.

The local water from taps here is so clean that it's literally sold as expensive packaged water. There's absolutely no chlorine or other disinfectants in it, it's just about the cleanest drinking water on the planet.

Still ****, who the **** wants to drink water?! Oo

Nononono,  that's Government municiple testing.  You can not trust these guys, for example, for YEARS after chernobyl the soviet union hid the fact that large swaths of Belarus was thoroughly contaminated and inhospitable.

FOR YEARS after 3mile island,  The US government hid the fact that down-winders were massively impacted by cancer, many of the law settlements also had gag-contracts for payout.

FOR YEARS, Washington state's Hanford bomb production site were leaking, again covered up, the original workers all came down with cancer, blown thyroids, autoimmune, heart disease, diabetes and other radiation disorders.

This is the playbook for EVERY radioactive accident EVER, and continues to be the case in the Most recent Fukushima.

300% increase in child thyroid cancer, most obvious Skin irritation, depression,   Government coverup includes insurance non-billable if doctors report radiation sickness, doctors who disobey will have their license revoked.

That's not how it works. Contamination could be in the water table.  Just as is the case now with fukushima, the entire ground water system is unusable there now.

Been on holidays in the US for three weeks and been drinking local beers when possible
(Attachment Link)

Guess the states we travelled  :)

I feel like we have a thread specifically for this...
https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=41614.0

Is that where it is?
I was too lazy (ie drunk) to find it  :))

too many specific threads get lost to the ebb and flow of GH'ers annual obsessions

i guess the entire subtext of GH is people geek'ing out over niche and generally collectible things. stands to reason threads get lost to attention spans.

i don't really care  :D this thread's about things you drink, and beer is drunk, so that doesn't make the drink of the drunk any less drank.

I try to mostly drink water, but coffee is an essential.  I also do like Diet Pepsi Wild Cherry...and the occasional kickstart.

How do you DRINK a Nazgul?!
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Gateron silenced browns at work, Cherry browns at home. Not the most tactile switch in existence but it works for me!
