In June, I got a Facebook message from a woman who apparently went to my high school and was three years my junior. I did not see this message until yesterday because FB had filtered it into "message requests" with no notification, so I responded, apologizing for the late reply and telling her that, despite seeing her in my yearbooks, I indeed did not remember her, as she suspected. I asked if she ended up graduating from our school (it shut down a few years after I'd graduated). After discussing graduation years and such, I basically said thanks for reaching out, trying to be nice, thinking that was probably the end of it.
Then she asked what I've been up to nowadays and said, "If you want to text me it's so much easier" and then wrote her phone number. She followed that three hours later with, "Unless that's totally weird. I get it! Haha".
This seems like a come-on to me, but I can tell from her profile that she's in a lesbian relationship with a woman, whom I do recognize from school. But they both seem to have children, so she must have been heterosexual at one point in time. To top it off, since I don't even remember her and we were three grades apart, we don't even have anything to discuss really. Is she just trying to be friendly or what? Even if she's just being friendly, I don't really want to give her my phone number because of the suspicion it would bring and also the annoyance of receiving text messages, lol. One other detail is that we're not FB friends, nor has she requested to be such.
