Help Me Spend $500-$700 - New Build Help!

 Hello,

I am looking to build a new Keyboard. (75%) - Similar Layout to the Drop CTRL or Razer TE

The CTRL looks good, but I think I could do better and have something as or more flexible for the money. - I do like the hot-swap feature.

Upon scouring the net, I have found the Tofu to be a popular option in the sub $300’s

Would like to get a case a little more substantial. (Similar to others out there like the Matrix OG)

However, it seems like custom cases are not easy to find unless I’m looking in the wrong place.

Thinking of using Holy Pandas or Gateron Ink Blacks

Is there a board out there that allows for both wire and and wireless?

This will be a gift to me now that I'm getting a little older. Looking forward to getting all the pieces together and enjoying it for a long time to come.

We @ GH have all taken the plunge

But,  Keyboards do not give FPS. One might kick oneself in the face, if one forgoes Gtx 2080 for Aluminum keyboard.

That said, Tp4 recommends ne Split keyboard, tentable to 55 degrees+

Split layouts are a no-go due to elbow and shoulder issues.

Look around in the interest checks section for the keyboard interest checks, or search around and ask on keyboard discord for recommendations. This is my best recommendation. Mech discord servers tend to have a lot of knowledge.

I'm not really into customs, let alone expensive ones. Try to get some brown Alps and make a build with those, I doubt you'll regret it!

In all seriousness, isn't there a new Threadripper that came out/ is about to come out soon.
