Check 10bit color is working in windows?
« on: Wed, 27 May 2020, 18:26:13 »
You all know my new computer. Under display adapter it says 10 bit color is enabled so is wide color gamut, HDR and everything else that should be. there is only one 10bit color test that i know of. It is from NEC Display. I have an Eizo display. When i run it it gives an error message to the effect of "This computers video card does not support 10bit color"! that is not very positive. After failing that is there any way that i can be sure that it is actually working? I know the reason that there is really nothing out there to test it is that it is not really needed. However, I paid for it, I would like to be sure that it is in fact working. If anyone knows a way to test it out could you please let me know? thank you

10bit needs application support.  it does not work uniformly across windows.
