I posted that mainly for ItlnStln's benefit.  I get the feeling he's not easily offended.

I don't.  Jersey Shore does make me a little less proud about being Italian.  I have family in New Jersey, and yes, some of them do act like that.  It's a good lesson in diversity.  There will always be trash no matter what race, creed, ethnicity, etc.  For some reason, white people in the South can't seem to figure this out, especially when they're dropping slurs from their trailer's porch.

How d'you know he's even Italian? Well, aside from the cocky rocky balboa Italian Stallion stuff ... hell, I might be Italian. Though I admit I look more like a white guy trying to look like an Asian guy, so yeah I'm not Italian.

My real name has been dropped around here a few times, I'm sure he knows.

A Swedish production company has filmed what they think is a Swedish version of Jersey Shore. So, yes, there is trash everywhere.

It's one of those things.  I was creating a custom theme on my EVO, and everything was going great, but the more I got the theme to my liking, HTC's SenseUI crap kept screwing up the vibe.  In order to make some of those changes (e.g. the lock screen), I had to root and install a custom ROM.  I'm glad I did, though, there are so many more cool things I can do now (like USB tether without a $25/mo. charge).

I braided 4 runs of Cat 6 I was using for speaker wire some years ago (2 runs each for positive and negative).  It took about 4 hours to braid cables for each of the 5 channels.  I am never doing that again.  It was pretty ugly looking; thicker than water hose, too.

When I can make an educated guess as to what linux distribution you are running based on the info you provided:

Debian (or a likely derivative, say ubuntu)?

Yes, Debian.

When your yearly spending on retro video games and keyboard paraphernalia is (much) more than the amount you've spent on food. For the entire year.
