in french only ever heard sa-ta, so i do say it like that, in english heard sa-ta and say-ta most often, also rarely s-ata, which is i think the most correct given that it is Serial ATA, but maybe the worst to say
i think that you should maybe say it like you say pata and/or ata, seems to make sense to me
