My street is very kid-unfriendly. But I am going to turn out the lights and go to the public library from 6:00-8:00 anyway.
The Constitution is a secular document that created a secular government.
Thomas Jefferson — in an actual quote — wrote in 1802 that our First Amendment built “a wall of separation between church and state.”
In 1797, John Adams agreed: “The government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion.”

I have not had trick or treaters come to my door since 2016. it makes me very sad for kids these days, they don't even play outside anymore. i blame a combination of overprotective parents, and the easy distraction of digital devices.

The neighborhood where we lived when my kids were growing up was crawling with kids, and we always ran out of candy by 8:00-8:30 even if we had bought several pounds. I bought the cheap stuff that even my kids would turn up their noses at 1/3 of it.

If you are unsure, you should buy what you like (which is probably the most expensive) and hope that you don't have to give it all away.

I don't enjoy eating Candy
I do not like dressing up as anything either, I like to stay inside and relax
I am not a fan of party but I do not mind Trick or Treating for couple hour.

I did not go out for this Halloween because I did not get invited to any party.

We had at least 15 to 20 treaters, my son did well on his short haul since everyone was saying grab as much as you want etc.

We had the most trick or treaters I've ever seen on Halloween.  Ran out of candy at least an hour before they stopped coming around.  The weather was very nice, though.
