Pickle prices /shocking

y'all remember the mt.olive pickles that come in gallons ?  they only fill up 2/3 of the way with pickles now,  and they're $7 a jar,  used to be $3 a jar.

That's a 3.5x price increase..

They also never used to use cut quqs. they were always full quqs of similar length.

Suspect perhaps they're just using less fresh ones nowadays, and snip the segment that's not as gud' , reduce cost
