I'm not buying anything from Amazon, no matter how good a deal I'd get.

Wound up getting a new coffee grinder. I'm a bit annoyed that my first 4 choices that were on Prime Day Discount did not work at all with the gift card they gave me. Really ****in scummy to create a cash coupon that is for this specific day, but does not work with 75% of the items on sale. Had to settle for my 5th choice, just like I settle in everything else in life

I got myself a chemex

I have used Chemex regularly (but not exclsively) for 35 years, I'm on about my 3rd or 4th. Too bad that the paper filters keep getting more expensive.

There was also a price mistake a bit back, not prime day, 4TB 850x western digital, for $145 each, but you had to buy 2.

Tp4 missed it, regrets life.

TP, its not that bad. We will get 4TB SSDs for $100 soon :)

It hurts when I think of initial SSD release, when I spent I think £220 for 30GB SSD - Vertex SATA 2.5". Those were the times. It was 10x times faster than regular HDD, everyone was going crazy, buying it as soon as it was available.
Now, that 4TB SSD (nvme) was for £145. That is £75 cheaper than that 30GB SSD, plus loads faster and 136x more storage! Insane!

I wish they made bigger storage SSDs nowadays - like 10-20TB, affordable of course.
I would have one 10TB disc for all my stuff. That would be nice. Even if it would cost like £300.

A piece of advice from an old man - Let Go Of Regret

The past has passed, we all make mistakes but the only thing we can do is learn from them and move ahead.
I have made more mistakes by procrastinating than by acting too soon.
