NE gekhaXpurts on Dehumidifiers here?
« on: Mon, 17 July 2023, 23:46:38 »
What do you guys use for basements?

Climate change has made the wetness overwhelming. The Old unit tp4 owns is not getting down to proper humidity.

Ran a full cycle test end to end, Based on empirical data, Existing unit produces only ~1.176 Liters per Kilowatt, @ 73 Fahrenheit, 70% humidity,

This old unit seems WAY worse than the latest Energy Star documentation which says a "modern good" dehumidifier, should produce ~1.9 Liters/Kwh  @ 65 F, 60% humidity.

So, it seems, on top of bad efficiency, the Current unit also hasn't aged well, maybe the refrigerant is low.  Because it's WAYYYY low output
