Listening Standing

Recently ran some calibrations for standing position. Noticed that you can feel more of the bass because the "butt + back" area is not dampened by the chair.

Thoughts? NE1 music standing up?

I believe it's because low frequencies are less directional. when you're standing, the midrange driver and tweeter usually is pointed below you depending on how things are angled. btw, you should check out open baffle diy speakers if you're looking to do some tinkering with stereo setups.

Is open baffle very expensive to drive to get low bass? It looks like they'd need alot of power to move very big cones without port effect to support the dip.
