I just use an air compressor. I already have the tool in the garage. Why anyone would want to blow all the collected dust/junk around the inside of your home is beyond me. Take equipment outside, blow off with compressed air, bring back inside.

I use the older model of the Datavac ED-500 that looks like that, the new one is all black but the same internally. Been a life saver for my PCs & KBs! Let's me quickly, easily, & most importantly cheaply dust off everything everyday so I don't have to full blown wipe everything down nearly as much. Also being a corded unit it has a massive advantage over cordless blowers & compressed air cans power wise. This thing can get under a deskmat & lift up some pretty hefty keebs. I'd say anything around & under 6 lbs TBH! If you find yourself going through a ton of cans of compressed air I highly recommend one of these or even one of the less powerful cordless blowers out there. The savings over time is humongous compared to buying cans of duster.

Edit: There is a anti static version, but it just comes with a grounding strap for your wrist so not really worth the extra money IMHO. Also I've never had any issues with the regular one, I've been using it around very expensive & sensitive PC parts for years now. As long as you don't touch the tip to any parts when it is on your all good to go ESD wise.

2nd on Datavac. Had mine for like 10 years now, still going strong.

Loud af though...

Not sure how cordless performs. Generally with appliances like this, the wired version is much more powerful and reliable.

The datavacs used to be good priced, 60-80, they're way too expensive now due to hype.

Researching into this, it seems a 500watt motor is the magic number for something like this.

It seems, there's the offbrand Xpower, which is a clone of the datavac with a 500watt motor.

There's a pistol version with 500watt, but one would suspect this produces less air pressure given the short chamber after the motor.

There's a few watering pot version which are smaller.

The only brushless is an 80watt version. Though, this is probably not super important for this type of thing, as you wouldn't run it continuous for all that long.

The cordless iterations, a few are brushless, but these definitely can't match 500watts. They use between 1 to 3 18650s depending on the thickness of their grips.

Tested a handheld one at the microcenter, it's weak, much weaker than plug in electric. The handheld only did 48g air pressure against a small digital scale, it's brushless running on 3x 18650s.

The Xpower has as much power as the datavac, Probably go with this one if raw power is what you want.

Tp4 also received the pistol shape plug in from amazon, it's not as powerful as the xpower despite pulling 460 watts, it pushes ~230g , xpower can do 300g.

For $30 pistol version is easier to aim than the Xpower @ $50.
