This weird AI h8 wave

Guys,  it's like you h8 GPUs.

Look, don't h8 GPUs,  it's the bad hughmahnns using AI improperly that is the problem.

Hughmahnns are fleshy and easily rectified,  if it gets bad,  well,  the solution is obvious.

Shovel crew hates the new Tractor,  it makes no sense, the problem is the Land Owners.

I hate NVidia. They profited off the cryptocurrency mining boom and then the AI boom, and are part of the circular financing that will blow up and deeply cut the world's economy when the bubble bursts.
Their money is blood money.

I don't blame a GPU. A GPU is just a piece of hardware. A GPU is innocent. But I won't buy one, because that would feed the machine with money.

A healthy dollop of hate should go to "AI pricing"

It is nothing but an invisible roundelay to use machines to spiral prices upward while human operators can pretend to be innocent.

Totally agree. It’s just the evolution of tools. Instead of wasting time and a ton of cash on things that can now be automated, it just makes sense to leverage technology. Photographers are still arguing about it, but let’s be real. If all I need is a basic corporate photo for my resume, why should I drop $200 and drive to a studio? I can just use an ai professional headshot app upload a couple of casual selfies, and get a solid result in minutes. That’s exactly the 'tractor' you’re talking about, it just makes the job more efficient, it’s not some profession killer.

For those who don't think that AI is a bubble: isaiprofitable.com.

If you want to count it that way, it's just socialized losses.

But the way capitalism works is exactly that at the end, as it fails to incorporate/ model for critical elements of the real world. .

If we didn't buy AI,  we'd have bought something else equally stupid and useless.
