That's possible if you don't actually type very much.

Hotkey use isn't what kills the wrist, spacebar use kill wrists.

I'm a translator. All I do is type.
And the spacebar is usually the same on all sizes, until you get to the real small ones.

I can type on smaller boards, but I lose speed.

I just bought myself a full szie few weeks ago, first time in about 25 years.
I always use TKL, but wanted to have a full size for work to use numpad. It is sooo weird now, as my hands go straight to number row for digits:)

Yeah I don't think it makes any meaningful difference other than a full size takes up way more desk space - especially if you're a masochist like me who likes to daily drive vintage tanks. I've always used a slide out tray though so it's never been a problem. Definitely been steering myself away from the numpad as of late however, having been working on laptops more frequently.

Though I have grown to appreciate the AT layout a bit more with how "centered" it is, but god forbid I ever need F11 or F12 lol

I keep trying other layouts, but I always end up going back to a full size.  My job requires using a terminal emulator, so I make heavy use of the F keys and the navigation cluster, plus the numpad when I have to work with spreadsheets.  Right now I'm trying out a Leopold FC980C, but my first impression is that the lack of dedicated home and end keys might be a deal breaker.
