The engineering required will exhaust available resources.  Mining/Energy capacities would have to increase exponentially for us to break even. 

There is no indication this will happen, EROI across all energy systems have only ever gone down.

Solar/Wind/Nvoo(lar = FOSSIL FUEL POWER.


All engineered energy extractions are mere conduits to Fossil Power.  Absent fossil, we simply won't have the liquids to keep going.

This issue is something that climate change activists have spoken about for decades: It costs much more to cope with the effects of climate change than to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

But no... doing things in the present to avoid long-term effects would cut into some executives' bonuses ...

To do ANYTHING and everything requires ENERGY,  which is extremely Finite.


If the MACHINES are causing the disequilibria,  the solution by CAPITALISTS is ,  hey I got this OTHER NEW MACHINE,  This one, this one will fix it.

Civilian:  Does this new machine use LESS energy?

Capital:  NO, it uses MORE ENRGY, 100x more energy on 10x the number of machines.

Civilian:  Does this machine at least get me to work faster?

Capital:  HELL NO,  you won't be going anywhere,  you just stay right there, push buttons, poop in your chair, and film yourself doing it for other people to watch as they press buttons, poop chair, and film themselves.

Civilian:  Where do I buy 5090 so I can encode in AV1 for greater video quality so people can see me do the thing in EPIC 4K.
