Rosewill 9000 - Case shining
« on: Tue, 06 March 2012, 13:05:57 »
My Rosewill 9000 (brown) is not even a few weeks old, and I am already noticing a little bit of shining on the case where my right hand rests.

Kind of a bummer, and really makes me more envious of those amazing CNC aluminum cases.  Anyone out there do any case modding with the Rosewills?

you can try putting on a Vinyl wrap or Carbon fiber! it would cover up the fugly logo as well!

You can get it cheap on ebay.

just like this guy did to his QF

I scuffed off the logo on mine with a magic eraser. If you're extremely careful I think you could take the logo off without shining the case too badly -I was not extremely careful. I've been considering just painting the case, that'd deal with the shine problem too.

I was drunk and impatient when I did this, I think you might be able to get all the logo off without shining the case much if you were very careful and patient.

In my neighborhood we call that "ghetto".

You know about redneck camouflage right? It's the two-tone paint job of rust and bondo.
