I bought one off this guy independently and it's sitting in my house right now. It came like ASAP after I ordered it. The keyboard is waaaaaaaaaaay second hand though, it has a connection before the ps2 converter that I'll need to look up on the wiki. The key switches kind of grind and get stuck. This is my first blue, but it sounds like it has a piece of sand stuck in it. I just wanted the springs really. I ordered some whites in a group buy, and a poker with blacks, so I'm hoping to do ghetto reds. Sucks that he screwed you guys. If it's any consolation though, the board I received was a real disappointment.

Gave him negative feedback for mine. He tried to bribe me for positive feedback. Trying to get me to cover postal costs when he's a business seller! Ignorant of distance selling laws.  Guy is a riiight c0ck end. Avoid!

This. I have ordered one independently, asked for a black model and he told me I had to pay £1 extra because it was black.

But yeah I'm hoping it doesn't turn up so I can get a refund and be done now.

actually, I messaged him about a black board, and like I said he replied saying it was £1 extra. This was a week back. He actuay replied again just a few days ago now saying that a black model is £2 extra...

make what you will of that.

I wish I had never dealed with him. He doesn't reply to my complaints about non-delivery. And when he does respond to questions it seems like he doesn't have any comprehension of the english language.

I put two negative feedbacks for him. This guys is stupid or a crook. He shows no comprehension not only of English, but of the whole eBay business. He's begging now to change my feedback. All those boards are coming from India, so I didn't trust the quality and the description. Thank God I didn't get them.

The keys do not rebound when pressed, there is a chemical coating on them and I need to wash my hands after touching them.

The pictures don't show how bad the quality actually is, imagine a harsh chemical smell, keys that stick down and have to be pulled back into place.  How this could be sold AT ALL, is what bothers me.

Also how many people does he get to give him positive feedback with partial refunds?

I got mine a few moments ago.. things I can spot (being new to these kind of stuff):

1. Space bar is a bit sticky which means sometimes when when I type it doesn't register, and the n key too.
2. The keys are different heights, and if I'm not mistaken that is because it's extremely used?
3. The ctrl key is slightly worn out but other than that all the other keys are just fine.

Then again I've got an model m coming (lexmark) so this is just to try out, if it compares really badly with the model m I may just take it apart and see what's inside since I've never gotten a mechanical keyboard and sure as hell won't disassemble the model m. lol...

This TVS board really isn't a board you should be considering typing on. Salvaging parts is at best what you can do with it. But with all the bad keys others are getting, it may not even be worth your money at all.

I got lucky and came away with:

-Doubleshot Keycaps
-Springs

I think the control key ended up in that condition as the Indian in the call centre finally took his rage out on the keyboard as it was THAT bad!

So if you get cold called from an Indian call centre, take it easy on them.

You ought to refund people FIRST. Worry about your refund later. After all, this was your initiative, and you're responsible for the losses.

Right. I'll take 83 of these. When will I receive them?

Dude, please. I think everybody on this board can handle ~15 lost, but ten times that for one person is pretty ****ing unreasonable.

People knew this was going through ebay. They had the chance to check out the seller and decide if they wanted to take that risk.
