How can you like blues?

Let me put it like this, blues don't feel the way they sound like on paper. The small difference in weight is actually very noticeable - at least for me. Also the tactility gives a 'jarring' effect, when typing (again IMHO). I find this OK when typing in short bursts for a few minutes, but any longer and it becomes uncomfortable. Also I find the browns brilliant for gaming, I play team fortress 2, css and other fps titles often. I find the browns especially useful when double jumping as the scout - I can ride the tactile bump to time my jump perfectly.

In my opinion, I would stick with browns and then see if you can find a way to try out blues for a decent period of time (Another error I made... I tested out the switches at my local pcworld, thought I liked them... And obviously after ordering I didn't...).

Finally something worth noting is the noise, I thought I wouldn't care as stuff like that doesn't usually bother me. But the blues did, they are just so high pitched that they interfere with anything you're doing.

It's all a matter of opinion, but if you're happy with one board I would recommend sticking with that until you get a chance to buy/try out the other

As well as this these analogies being thrown around about blues being the manlier switch or whatever you guys are insinuating, are just ridiculous. If I were to put it into an analogy, the blues would be like the training wheels (stabilisers) on a bike, then once you can use the bike without these (i.e. the sound and the heavy tactility) you can type just as fast, but you're hands don't get destroyed in the process Browns are called 'ergonomic switches' by cherry for a reason.

I was thinking that I might head down to PC World to try one out too, but you're probably right that I wouldn't be able to form a proper opinion on them from that.

no,,, it's just a thing I do,,  Comma represents a pause, ,, I type on forums like i would a conversation,,, so multiple commas is a slightly longer pause between typing the next phrases,, ,, ,,,,,,, ,,

But all this is typed @ 90% speed,,, so ,, each comma represents, about 0.12 second pause

It makes your text hard to read, simple as that. It's annoying and serves no purpose. You shouldn't need to add commas to iterate how you talk; you KNOW how you talk and you can read it like that after it's typed.
