I was waiting to see how much it would cost in the UK before deciding on this or the Filco. Not keen on the CM graphics but could overlook them if it was substantially cheaper, however not sure it will be once vat is added. But it depends whether it will be £=Euro or not, assuming there will be a UK layout at all of course.

it's $65 USD over here, so ,, prepare to get one in UK, cuz i can't see it as being much more.

Well they're saying 75.62 euros + vat, so assuming they play fair that's 90.75 euros which is $120 so double what you pay! However if they do play fair that's only about £75 so a fair bit cheaper than Filco which i about £120 ($190!). But I can see it being £=Euro knowing UK prices so would be £90, and also more in line with others (K90 £115, Zowie £110...)

Just read on OCUK that it won't be released in the UK until December. Not sure if that's true or not, if it is it makes my decision easier.

Does anyone have any info about layout? Don't want ISO...

I'm following this thread @ CM Storm forums and I'm slightly worried about availability:

Also the price tag might be not-so-convenient.

I got mine for half the price of a filco so imo its pretty convenient

If you can type without looking at the keyboard you dont need german layout as the others have 88keys like the german layout.

You could also just order the german layout from wasdkeyboards and put them on
http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/index.php/products/keycap-sets/88-key-iso-cherry-mx-keycap-set.html

or you could get a filco in german layout

Read on the CM forum that they won't be bringing out a German layout. "Thank you for your inquiry. Sorry but the Quick fire rapid will not be on the market in Germany. They will be available in Italy, France, UK and Nordics." They didn't say why not.

That's ironic, as the switches are German designed,, I don't know if this is true though.

OK, does that mean all QF Rapids on the European market are 88 key? If so, I'm not interested. Small left Shift sucks.

that

That sucks, is it 100% confirmed EU has only 88 key iso version?
