So, my stock keycap white infills are already wearing out, it's been 3 weeks.

Why do they do they use such ****ty infills. Is it a conspiracy to sell us caps? LOLOL

They only sabotaged your board. Take it and throw it through CM office's window.

The stock keycaps were yucky. They are in a pile on the floor in the corner of my room. They were replaced with some Cherry PBTs and now I'm using a blue on grey WYSE set.
If you live in AZ you can try my keyboards. I usually keep plenty of different ALPS and MX and buckling springs.

I just got mine and haven't had any issues yet, but I will probably be getting new keycaps soon whether they fade or not. Will post if I have the same issue though.

Had keyboard for 2 months but have been using my noppoo's keycaps until recently. They aren't all that great, i'd say they are functional. What bugs me is they used a different printing method for the red wasd keys which are much nicer as you don't feel the print. Will probably buy some keycaps for the board either blanks or side printed ones when I have money/time.

I replaced mine as soon as I got them. Ugly font was the main reason. Previous owner did the same thing.
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.

It's cheaper than a Filco no?

I actually hated the caps on my Filco (for whole other reason). I simply just swapped them out and kept quiet.

No offense to Quickfire owners or anything, but you can't spend 65$ on a board and expect the best caps to be on it

The best thing about the quickfire is that it leaves you money to buy new keycaps!

I noticed that too. While I knew the keycaps were nothing to write home about, I did expect them to last longer but it doesn't bother me that much as I am very pleased with the rest of the keyboard's quality and I knew when I bought it that this would be the first one to get new keycaps.

It's too bad I can't use the PBT dye sub keycaps on my Unicomp.

Nothing wrong with it as a keyboard, I'm just don't understand why they would bother with this ****ty infill in the first place.

i bought a set of white blank caps, but i felt that it was too distracting because the caps are so bright looking at the bottom of my "lower" periphery. Gave it to my friend, he loves them.

Had a similar time frame before my legend infills were noticeably wearing out on my red switched board.  Barely missed Ragnarok's red on black group buy so I'm going to wait out the year or so before round 4 keysets start shipping.

I'm currently in on that group buy, thank god.;

I'm interested in this dye sub,, how "deep" does the dye go,

I've had mine for about a month and mine haven't worn off one bit.  While a few keys are dirty (and uncleanable) I found the same thing happened with my Filco and blackwidow.

Well I just realized my keyboard will always get some form of dust and dirt on it. After all, I touch the keyboard directly with my hands every day approximately 8 hours a day. So I realize my keycaps and my the surface of my keyboard will always wear out from normal wear and tear and also from cleaning.

So I'll just clean my keyboard and leave my keycaps as it is :D
