Love the Cherrys and the Commodore!  What Commodore was that keyboard for?  It doesn't look familiar.

NOTHING.

THANKS USPS YOU ****ING ****S. THE STORE IS LITERALLY FORTY MINUTES AWAY WHY THE **** IS MY PACKAGE DELAYED TWO ****ING DAYS.
UPS ftw.

I found them to be the most reliable of all the major carriers--fedex, dhl, usps.  And if they're not on time--you don't pay for the service.  I was spending $1500/wk with them distributing auto parts, and I can count on one hand how many times we had to ask (and promptly got) that service refund.  Simply amazing.  I'll never deal with the nonsense from carriers ever again.

Curious.

It's not BS, right?

Is there no end to the keyboards IBM made!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

It uses buckling springs, actually.  :p

Brother buckling springs, to be exact.  They're very similar to "normal" BS... but much better: barrels are individual modules that you can take off the boards without taking anything apart, and the sound and feel is superior to me than any model M. Kinda like a stiff model F.

Interesting!

I've never seen one of these before, were they JP only?

Yes, and only used by two models as far as I know: 5576-003 (this one, rare even in JP) and 5576-A01 (a bit more common, but still rare).

Thank you!  Absolutely fascinating since Commodore was only in the PC game for a blip in history.

I got my GMK Dolch shipped in from Taiwan, I got my GMK CMYW mods from Originative, and my new Nucular Kush BBv2 got here in a trade I made for my Starcluster BBv2.

I even got a green tea Kit Kat to try for the first time!!!
