As title says.

Hmmm.... Hard to say, because even if they get new stock at "certain" warehouses, They may be shipping from a "closer" warehouse with "older stock"..

It most definitely isn't certain.  I got my QFR with Blacks from Amazon and it came with logos (not that it bothers me.)  I would guess that the blues are more likely not to have logos because they are by far the most popular model of the QFR.

My guess is that most or all of the browns will be unbranded.
This is because they were out of stock for a short while, and therefore they should be shipping with all new stock.

I have ordered (live in Seattle, WA area) 4x CM QuickFire Rapid keyboards in the last 3 weeks with 1x Browns being from Amazon, 2x Reds, 1x Blues from Newegg and can confirm that all are unbranded. Doesn't guarantee that you will get the same but they are selling at a decent rate so I'd bet if you order from Amazon or Newegg you'll more than likely get an unbranded one. Good luck!

I ordered an MX red model last week from Amazon last week and it's unbranded... If that helps.

I received a Blue for Christmas, was ordered middle of the month, and it's most definitely branded :(  Doesn't matter, of course, since I'm planning to sand/paint it and replace all the caps, but still would have been nice in the meantime.

The branding's not really that bad, once you swap the keycaps out.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

So my quickfire rapid with cherry mx browns finally came in today in just two days thanks to Amazon prime, and they are infact unbranded!  ;D My quickfire rapids mx blues that ended up returning were unbranded but used the old style box.

I have a question though, my keyboard feels a bit different and sounds different from my brothers Quickfire Pro that also uses mx browns, what gives?

Different table you have the keyboard on?  It can make a difference.

Did he change keycaps? If not, then its probably just that your keyboard is newer and has not been broken in yet and/or variance in the switches.

He did not change the keycaps, his keyboard is one week older than mine. Just to make sure, he does not have the quickfire rapid he has the quickfire PRO if that changes anything even though both keyboards use the same key switches.

Aha!  Different manufacturer (AFAIK), maybe one is plate-mounted and the other PCB-mounted?

That could be it haha, apparently my rapid is supposed to be of higher quality than his since mine is manufactured by costar and his is by ione... odd that i prefer the latter... but my new keyboard is growing on me so thats a plus!

Thanks for the help guys!

The Quickfire Rapid is manufactured by the company Costar, which in general make better more solid keyboards ( like Filco) than the company that is contracted to make the Quickfire Pro, which is iOne. iOne also makes the Razer Blackwidow.

haha yeah, it' strange that I preferred the cheaper one at first, but my costar board is slowly growing on me. Had to return my blue quickfire rapid since it was just too loud.
