Does no one have any keyboard news or anything to discuss? I don't at the moment, so I hope someone else does soon.

Nothing for me right now.  Have a few gems on their way to me (some on their way to others as well).  Also, I think ashort was planning on a review of his new Cherry at some point.

Otherwise...just a slow weekend in the middle of the Sunni Triangle.  :)

I've been working really strange hours, lately. Just finished off a 11.5 hour shift today, so I'm bushed.

Also, typing happily on my new(old) Dell keyboard.

Can't forget the typing.

If you dig around a bit you can find all sorts of mods like that. My fav is a laptop thing with a typewriter keyboard.

You really should have waited three more days for the elusive 6-year necro.

He did come back for a short while, then disappeared again.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
