Are the LEDs shipped separately?  Hmmm, if I had known I would have bought them myself.

No, but they are invoiced separately since different people dealt with it.  There was no shipping in your LED invoice. They'll be in the box.

So I've paid my shipping invoice to Boost. Alaric, have you sent any assembly invoices yet, or are you doing those as you assemble the boards?

assembly, LEDs and any additional parts I sourced for certain people, and final shipping will be a single invoice when your board is ready to go.

And Turkish, try Sherryton/Originative.

Brilliant.  Hence the ONLY thing you require are the Switches.  Glad I arranged to send some to you, I just wished I had not needed to do it because a whole set of Clears was already paid for but looks like never delivered to you at all.

As soon as you get my (second batch of) switches please let me know, I would appreciate it immensely.

Nice to deal with someone who truthfully announces what is happening with this assembly process here on this forum.

Update,

I ****ed up on the shipping invoices for tge USA orders. Like really ****ed up. I am truly sorry for this but I invoiced for $15 but the shipping is really $28 priority mail.

Ill send pms out and will take the loss on the shipping supplies(boxes, tape, ect) as I had that built into the price.

Again, I'm really sorry for this.

9lb from 11420 to you via priority mail.

I received and paid two separate invoices for shipping last week. One was for $60 and the other was $43. I think the $43 invoice was the correct one and if so, keep the $60 to cover the $13 difference plus some of the packing supplies or whatever

Sorry, but when did it nearly double in weight?

They were shipped ems. Each keyboard weights 5lbs if that makes a difference...

9 lbs shipped is $22.41 printing the slips online.  Seems like you aren't losing money on shipping materials at $28/person.

Also, large flat rate priority = $17 including the box, which seals itself. I understand bubble wrap and the like is on top of that, but yeah.

I did 5 orders to the west coast, and south east, all of them were from 26ish to 28 with delivery confirmation.

Didn't think of doing a large flat rate box, will order some of those. Thanks for pointing that out tj. Thanks!!

Ah, you can also save a bit on shipping by purchasing the postage online and printing the label yourself (I think the discount is $2 for a priority mail large flat-rate box).

Yeah, I just walk in an grab 'em from the Priority/Express display.

Assuming he needs more than they stock in the display, the postman should drop them off today or tomorrow if boost ordered over the weekend.

A lot of post offices don't carry the appropriate size box for this thing. I know the two I go to don't. So you have to order them online and have them delivered.

My local PO doesn't not give me 20+ SFR/MFR/LFR. I ordered the boxes on-line from usps.

There is a box that's about 1" longer than a standard medium flat rate box. I accidentally shipped a keyboard in one of these thinking it was a MFR box for $11 (postage printed online for flat rate), and post office didn't have a problem. Of course YMMV, but at least my local one wasn't a stickler about this. A Korean board will fit one of these boxes perfectly, but not a standard MFR box (about 1/4" short).

Curious, does anyone know for sure about the anodizing on the cases for the LZ-GH? Are they all hard anodizing? I've also heard that all of them are soft anodizing except for the grey ones. Can someone clarify this please?

Where did you hear this? This is what GON said about his cases...

I read the plates are hard anodized, but I'm not sure about the case and am also curious. :)

Just because of the weight or do you have other issues with it?

The steel bar-foot gives this thing almost all it's weight, if it's the same as the LZ-S. And where the hell are you carrying your Korean custom keyboards?

Light for a Korean board?  Aside from the 456GT what's heavier?  Shame I'm at the office... when I get home I'll have to compare the weight of the top of a KMAC2 and this.

Technically, the keyboard wasn't $500.  It was $315.  Even with shipping, it won't hit $400.

Damnit, now I'm going to have to sell mine.  The only reason I bought this keyboard was to use it as a home defense weapon, now you tell me it's too light without the bar and too off-balance with the bar?!?!  I knew I should have gone with the Remington 870 instead!  ;P

Now I find out it's off balance or too light.  How can I use this as a shield now!?  I was sold a bill of goods.

Well, why ship a massive steel bar 2 ways if you don't have to?  That's a little silly.  With the design of the LZ boards you get a lot less aluminum (than a KMAC) and the steel bottom plate on it's own may not make up the weight difference.

Given the additional PCB space for the numpad and so forth extrapolating from a normal LZ style case with no steel (and assuming the trikx will have none)  ~4.3lbs
Filco w/ Imsto thick PBT
Ducky 1087XM PCB+Plate, w/ Matias "Quiet Click" spring-swapped w/ XM Greens

I just thought that the shelled aluminum was a bit meh, nothing wrong with it at all, just not my preference if I was to give $500 to someone for a keyboard.

Technically, the keyboard wasn't $500.  It was $315.  Even with shipping, it won't hit $400.

Yes it will, 125$ + 315$ makes it 440$ shipped to me with a pit stop in boost's garage
that hurts but still, I love the board and I can't wait for the postman to ring at my door with it under his arm
Regarding shipping cost,
Elrick if you read this and you feel like paying a bit more for shipping I can send you my paypal address anytime. And please don't be shy, just ask for it!
