MX Greens might be...

The sweet spot for me! My second QFR just came in today, this one of the Cherry MX Green variety.  Finally pulled the trigger on a new keyboard about a month ago after an older rubber-dome Logitech called it quits, and this QFR is my third new keyboard within that time...I totally underestimated this place after lurking for so long. 

Not a big fan of Browns which are on a Rosewill RK9000 that I'm now using at work.  My other QFR has Blues which I do really like even thought I didn't expect to, but the actuation on both Browns and Blues is a little light for my taste.  Enter Greens, which I am REALLY liking so far.  For people who own boards with Greens and Blacks, what are your thoughts between the two?

I do like linear switches but I feel that linears benefit from lighter springs (I much prefer Reds over Blacks). Greens are much more satisfying to actuate over Blues because the click is more subdued and the resistance helps prevent bottoming out.

As for your question, Blacks and Greens don't really compare. I do have trouble sustaining Greens; Blacks are a bit easier but I'd prefer Reds.

Greens are good..

They're troubling if you have inconsistent weather // room-temperature..

at 80F all's good.. But as soon as you go down to 75-72, your hands start to freeze up in the coldness... And the 80g force becomes too much to sustain.

Is there a switch between blues and greens, maybe like 70g AF?  I think I'll just have to take the plunge anyway and try out the other 2 switches I'm missing, blacks and reds are still intriguing for some reason...

MX Blacks are in between Blues and Greens in actuation. The springs are different; maybe if you can swap out Green springs with Blacks (a tedious procedure unless the board has PCB-mounted switches) you'd get an in-between switch.
