For MX-Blue, it doesn't translate to Green.. In chinese and russian for example, there's a specific word for "Sky-Blue" that being " 青 "

Whereas in English it's all just generally "blue"

Here is Japanese names. Some words are different from Traditional Chinese.

EnglishJapanese
Blue青軸
Brown茶軸
Red赤軸
Black黒軸
Clear白軸
Green緑軸
White白軸

Almost Japanese confused Clear and White.

[EDIT]
For example, this company sells MX1A-C1NN(Clear) as 白軸.

Some Chinese keyboard sellers say Green but they are really Blue MX switches. I almost bought a Ducky 9087 shine 2 from PC Home, they listed it as green switch but pics were blue. When buying from Chinese dealers some call blue - green. Make sure you know what their color really is.

yeah, I've done shopping on Taobao before, I can vouch for the accuracy of those. at least  for simplified Chinese

I dunno why they call blue MX 青 and not 蓝

It's my understanding that in Chinese/Japanese culture, the word for "blue" can also mean "green" in certain contexts. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I edited the OP to include Japanese names from vardhana.

yeah in Chinese 青 means green most of the time, but it can also be a lightish blue color.
which is why I dont get why dont they just use 蓝 (which always means blue).

These are the correct names.
I know the Japanese do call Red switches赤軸,but that character actually means Scarlet. It’s a brighter red than the actual red used in Cherry MX, so紅軸 is more accurate.

Chinese and Japanese call clear switches白軸 because white and clear use the same character.
White switches are ‘milk’ switches because there’s no other way to differentiate easily in the writing system.
Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.

I'm a Chinese,and I know the reason.

青 is lighter than 蓝,

we call the dark blue switch 蓝轴 or 钴蓝轴,  and there is one more swith from China called 凯华 swith, which is blue ,and not producted by Cherry.
