That's crazy that people have to pay that much for college/school. You didn't even start your life that you already owe 30 grant ... Best way to handicap people IMHO.
It's pretty ridiculous how much college has become in the USA.
My goal for grad school is to get a job and see if I can get some help that way.
FWIW, every company I've worked for as an engineer has had graduate school help. The company will pay for it straight up, subsidize it, or reimburse you. I'm currently deciding if I want my Master's.
Many STEM degrees, especially engineering and medicine, do not give scholarships to most of the students in the program.
Are you sure about that? I knew a lot of people who had scholarships and studied engineering. I was fortunate enough to be one of those people.
