« on: Mon, 12 August 2013, 00:29:35 »
Waiting for my neuroanatomy spotter exam.... since 8am.... It's excruciating, I just want to get it done so my brain can switch off for a bit. What do you guys do to kill time.

Central Nervous System, Autonomic, Ascending, Descending pathways nuclei regions on the brain and so on. It's a spotter exam where you have specimens and models with two pins (A and B) you have to give them either the name of the structure or function. I forgot to mention you have 30 seconds per questions.

I sometimes surf GH to pass the time - looks like you are already doing that.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I just did the spotter... went fantastic. No I am in my final semester for my second year of medical school going onto my residency soon. Neurosurgery is a fantastic field but its a long specialisation.

Congratulations - well done!

It's nice to know that at least one member of the next generation of neurosurgeons also has an interest in keyboards ;)

And then sit down to wait until you arrive at your destination ;)
