Not much as far as feel goes. The main advantage for the plate is it allows you to open the switches without having to desolder anything.

280s have 2 dvi and 1 svideo

450 has 2 dvi and 1 mini hdmi

Both have max resolution of 2560 x 1600

when i went to remove the switches, i had noted one of the diodes were missing a pcb pad. the solder was dribbled over to it like a quick repair job. I didn't have any issues with it. It worked like that for months but when i started reassembling it, i had an issue. i cut a piece of wire and jumped the switch to the diode (with some help from fellow geekhackers) and its been working great like that since February. In fact, i'd say its in better shape now than when it was new. the solder on stock qfr's is a kinda cruddy.

Heavier springs. I believe black spring with blue stems is called ghetto greens. Should have the same feel as a stock green switch.

How heavy did that headset feel while you were using it? Dumb question, but is that mic removable? Been thinking about buying a wireless headset for work as IEMs tend to get painful after 2+ hours of daily use.

It has some weight to it. Its got an internal battery but they aren't bad. amazon has the total package including the receiver, headset, usb cables, thick ass manual at 8 oz.

the mic is removable too.
