Any Wifi tweaks on ddwrt/tomato you guys use?

Increase the antenna output but I'm not sure if that does much. I had my old wrt54g overclocked for a while.  Since upgrading to n, I haven't had many issues.

my house uses intel 6300 and 5300 on all Ltops.

Why do they sell these routers as 450Mbps x2 when it really just caps off at about 100Mbps on the 2.4ghz and 150Mbps on the 5ghz

450 mbps is perfect conditions like in a radio sanitary environment.  In the real world, there are tons of devices that emit some kind of radio disturbance.

Also, What is this "good neighboor" policy on 40mhz in the 2.4ghz band.

Do you guys force 40mhz?  My neighboors are quite "far" away at least 50 feet from my router through several walls. so I don't see a problem really in doing so.
