I believe they are Blues. Stealth would be Browns.

For an intro into mechanical boards, $40 ain't too bad.  (Still hate that bottom row though).

You could do a lot worse:
wut. i'd buy a ****ty IBM board for that green V2

Just an FYI, this looks to be US only. It's asking me for my State when I try to add an address.

Would buy if they were blacks. I'm honestly complexed by Razer, they try to go with the gamer stereotypes so much, but put blue/brown switches in their kbs over black/reds?

I think there was a thermaletake board on sale recently with blacks that was only around $40.

Yep. Sold out before I could grab :( If I can justify the ergodox price I'll be getting it in blacks.

To mention ergodox on a thread discussing the blackwidow is a travesty!  ;D ;D ;D

No one talks about Bentleys on a thread discussing Honda Civics!

Can I interest you in swapping your ergodox for a 2010 Razer Blackwidow?  ;D ;D ;D Be happy to pay shipping both ways!

Blues have 50g actuation force normally.  Browns and reds: 45g. I don't think they've changed anything--just marketing words to make their stuff seem special.

Someone said (different thread) another Razer model was quoted to have 45g actuation force but had Blues.  I hadn't checked it myself, but Razer does love putting Blues everywhere ;)

Compared to anything Razer has put out..  the ERgodox is an Ffffing Deathstar...

the Razer is a tricycle with a dildo for a seat. I can't argue that it appeals to certain crowds.

I dunno mate, my Razer was my introduction to the mechanical keyboard world. I'm not one for any of that garbage, gamer branding with LEDs everywhere. I ended up painting the case of my Blackwidow purple because that gloss finish they put on it was disgustingly tacky... and then harvested it's switches when I decided it's existence in my home was a little below me. But let's be real here, the whole tricycle with a dildo analogy kind of falls over when you stop and think that most of the people buying these Blackwidows have never owned a mechanical keyboard before. To upgrade from a disgusting, spongy, generic board to a low end mech board is kind of a miracle to those experiencing it. If you can go ahead and link us all to a higher quality board being sold at $40 then you'll be my personal messiah.
