Both are annoying at times. Banning? Hmmm, too harsh or just right?
Neither MW or TP adds anything to GH, and each detracts a little bit in his own special way. Maybe it would be addition by subtraction to get rid of both? I dunno. Somebody wiser than me has to decide.
@Tym: Both MW and TP are making a cry for help and attention with every post. Both are sad cases, it's true. But can anyone really help them here?
I think you're totally off base about microsoft windows. He isn't even on the same level as tp. I enjoy his randomness, because it isn't based in bitter hatred and disdain for humanity, like tp's posts.
Well, I was trying to say MW is a goofball basically. And I meant to say that a goofball like MW, is much less annoying than an outright troll like TP. Which is the same as what you're saying.
But one the other hand, a goofball basically wastes everybody's time, and adds nothing to the discussion. Is it really that funny when MW posts one of his non sequiturs? Not to me. I find his "humor" infantile and a bit moronic. His whole sardonic anti-windows schtick is overplayed with me already. I got it 2 years ago. Windows sucks. You don't have to shout at me anymore.
But, should we really ban a goofball like MW simply for being too goofy and too corny? That is a tough call. And I agree with you that MW and TP are not in the same league, or even the same sport. TP is an easy choice, at least for me. He would have been banned after his first 100 posts. However an annoying goofball like MW would also be on my personal ban list as well, but I can see your point that you feel he is pretty much harmless. He would merit more consideration with me if he could make a meaningful post. Even if just once in every 100 posts he said something useful, interesting, poignant, or even mildly funny, I would feel he is contributing to GH. But as it stands now, he simply wastes all of our time.
