Not sure he was entirely sober
The next time he came
His head hung in shame
As his money he spent all on Topre

Um... So what, like Topre is some sort of sexual favor, that he bought from you, the male/female prostitute...

He came not once, but twice, but all too quickly, and so to make up for his inadequacies, he gave you all of his money despite your lower asking price...

That's how I read that...
