All I need is a 1000w PSU and maybe another SSD.
What are you running that you need a 1000W PSU? o.o
Getting a new card as soon as the Titan Ultras drop, and my measly 600w won't be able to power it.
What games do you play and what res monitor(s) do you have?
I really play everything, and my monitor's nothing crazy just a standard 1920x1200 display resolution. I've just had my 560 Ti for so long it's time for a big upgrade. Never had trouble running things at max/close to max until recently, so a Titan Ultra or 800 series ought to last me another 2 years or so.
the 780kudan / Titan Ultra are not going to last 2 years. Even if they do... You're better off buying 2x $500 cards and getting way more for your money.. like 2x AMD 290x... or even 2x nv780 vanilla
the kudan/titan is the same as throwing aluminum at keyboards.. it's "nice" but there's very little function at dramatically increased costs..
The difference is, you can dual wield gfx cards, but you can't really use 2 keyboards, so single keyboard performance is the only thing you can improve..
but for gfx... there's no reason to put so much into one card.. the micro-stuttering issue is mostly resolved on both brands....
It really just comes down to frame-rate numbers now..
