what, guys wearing eyeliner is a common thing?!
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Eyeliner is not as bad as foundation and concealer. That stuff can hide The Thing if done by a trained woman.

I wore eyeliner for a brief moment one summer about four years ago. Looked pretty feminine, but did help show off my eyes.

(here's hoping this thread wasn't some inside joke)

Yea. The guy liner thing has been going on for some 3ish years or more.

I have to admit, I don't know if I ever noticed a guy wearing guy liner outside of a guy already wearing a theatrical outfit to go along with the makeup.

Maybe that's why I don't notice it.  An average guy isn't going to wear jeans, tshirt, sneakers, and guy liner.

I'm probably not that attentive, though.

Most women look awful/plain without a lot of work. I assumed this was common knowledge. Men are generally more naturally attractive than women - male skin is thicker and firmer than female skin, resulting in better complexions, less prone to spots and blemishes, less prone to wrinkling, etc.

Am I missing something, or is this the first thread started by TP that doesn't involve Topre? I was thinking he'd discovered some use for eyeliner on non-Topre keyboards or something.

He hasn't mentioned Ergo Dox yet either.

Although the thread does have pictures of female persons :p
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Bona fide boners aside, I'm just saying that your logical faculties will always fail in the face of certain temptations.
It's not enough to know something is a lie ... you must feel it in your heart, soul and body.

okay *** this ****.
I'm just trying to rationalize a reason to buy a new keyboard.
