Looks like an iPhone.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Why would anyone buy a phone with a contract these days? Or pay more than $400 for a flagship-grade unlocked phone?

1280x720.. what is this 2013?
iPhone 5 and 5S are both 1136x640 and pretty damn sharp. Can't say I've seen anyone knock it for its screen resolution.

Last thing I need is a phone that tries to sell me things.  It looks cool, but I wouldn't get it if Amazon was paying me to take it.

If it has the same build quality as the Amazon Fire, I would not expect much.
Wish I had some gif or quote for this space, but I got nothing

This phone is a prime candidate for cyanogen.

I haven't used this phone in particular but the Kindle Fire interface is horrible.

meh
