This is good..

Hopefully they retool the game so that it is optimized using GPU physics...


As it stands,  even my 4.8ghz 3770k/4770k chokes..   my 5ghz 2500k ****s a brick everytime something crazy happens with fire..

lol who are you kidding? xbox one kinect exclusivitiy is what they want with this

well considering xbox 1 has an ultra weak CPU,  I think they're definitly going to NEED to use AMD-mantle to accelerate the physics..   which is great news for all minecraft players with AMD hardware..

That's surprising...my i7 920 running at 4.0 has no problems with it.

That's surprising...my i7 920 running at 4.0 has no problems with it.

you ever play one of those levels where most of the map burns down.. and a big hole explodes in the ground...   Minecraft is super CPU heavy  in these situations.

What would you do with that amount of money? I sure as hell wouldn't buy Mojang.

The "community" are worried Microsoft are going to ruin the game. I can safely say it was ruined about 2 years ago when experience came into the mix

I have 8k hours on that game, and I can tell you it's only gonna get worse from now on.

Brilliant move for Notch, if you ask me. The core developers get a nice big payout and the freedom to do their own thing again.

MS is making a ton of bad decisions recently. The franchise won't grow much more than it already has, especially with the core guys gone.

I won't be installing any more updates to minecraft any more, but that's fine with me. It's pretty much complete anyway. There'll also still be mods.

um... which game ISn't eventually overrun with angry 12yr olds..  That's the nature of video games..  who has the time to play them.. oh,  angry 12yr olds...
