OLD^      NEW^
So just yesterday Corsair released all their K series RGB keyboards, however the changed the logo last minute to a crablike tramp stamp tattoo logo.
The new logo looks awful as you can see. Can you guys please sign the petition to ask Corsair to keep their old classic logo as they have on the first batch of K70s?
This means alot to me and the now 1000 other people who don't want to see Corsair succumb to "tween gaming".

Interesting. I had no idea. Out of curiosity why does this mean a lot to you? What personal stake do you have in Corsair's logo?

Edit: I'll go ahead and sign because I always thought Corsair had one of the classiest logos of all computing equipment brands.

I'm too tired (and busy with homework) to retype a personal response to you so i'll copy and paste my longest more passionate response from overclock.net.
As far as personal stake if you mean stock or something none, i just care because it was like the perfect keyboard until that one small change.

@Jason, Do you not see the dedication and passion put into this post and our requests. A logo is not just a silly little picture. It is what represents a company, and entire organization. The reflects the organization's beliefs through its symbol and type face. Such a small change/image can say so much about a company. At first i was like, i don't like the logo but i was going to buy it anyway and mod it out. But through the dedication here i have slowly decided to wait in hopes of a possible change. Now, after this lengthy post i've decided to withdraw from purchasing the K95 RGB and wait for a proper revision to Corsair's mistake. And if the revision is not delivered i will wait for a new product once the MX RGB exclusivity expires. I've waited over 6 months to spend $189.99 on a keyboard when there are other option available for over half the price. Furthermore, the timing and manner in which the new "Corsair gaming" logo has been introduced is undesirable. Throughout this entire wait we have been presented with a wonderful product, only to have it altered (and delayed) at the last minute. I care so much about this, that i took the time to create a petition to persuade Corsair to revert to the original logo. And i continue to actively look for petition supporters.

This keyboard was going to be my first official Corsair product. (Iv'e bought 6-8 corsair PSU now, as i build PCs for friends and other customers) Now i have been disappointed by Corsair before i even got a chance to purchase/pre order my first Corsair product. I was planning to purchase a 900D (or whatever flagship case you would have available) when i graduate college in 2 years. Also, i was going to switch from Patriot memory which i have been loyal to for some 8 years. Now all of this may not happen. Please fix this before it's too late. I will forgive you if you (corsair) if fix your mistake. I end with a quote.

“It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you’ll do things differently.” (Warren Buffett)

New logo looks bad compared to the old.  Like it was made by the owner's nephew or something.

My god, what were they thinking?

it's clear to me. Instead of representing the "good" or "quality" components, they want to represent the "junk" "gaudy stuff that will sell to noobs" and they are changing their logo to match.

I mean, if I: Noob collector of gaudy trash for 1337 skillz want to buy something, I want to buy it from a company with a logo to match (to put on the side of my case) not some "respectable company" logo like corsair's older one was.

Tramp stamp?  Really?  Come on guys - the appropriate term is Doggy Art.  Art meant to be appreciated in the aforementioned position.

Yeah apart from the tramp stamp, it sort of reminds me of those old video card boxes with the naked women (not really naked but sexually suggestive and under dressed) you would see all the time in the 90's and early 2000's.

I bet if they do change it boards with the classic logo might command a premium.  Buy up all the RGB's you can find and sell em later!

I hate to be a naysayer but I just have to put my 2 cents in that this is one of the silliest Internet petitions I've seen yet.

But I supposed crazier things have happened, so I signed it. Regardless, probably not buying any memory produced by them recently if this is indicative of how the company is run.

I think the new logo is supposed to be evocative of a pirate flag? The skull and crossed swords? Corsair does mean 'pirate.'

This is just speculation on my part, as I haven't looked at their website about the new logo or anything. I do prefer the old logo. It was instantly recognizable as the company's brand.

I think that Corsair is a great company (aside from their non-standard KB layout) and this is definitely a step in the wrong direction for them
The old logo strikes me as simple and classy.
The new logo looks like something straight out of Kingdom Hearts or some sort of weapon from Final Fantasy (also them tramp stamps)
This definitely gets a signature from me!

If you look at their facebook page, 95% of the comments are about how horrible the new Logo is.

EDIT:  I was reading the Corsair forum, sounds like they're set on the new logo because they spent over $1,000,000 in the new campaign.  So they can't just change it now.  Talk about money well spent.......

So much arrogance in those responses.  I miss the old Corsair.  Their quality, designs, and support have been going downhill.

More plastic, thinner metal in their cases, massive issues with peripherals (snappong in half headphones, breaking keyboards, skipping mice, etc), pump issues with their CLCs, issues with Corsair Link, massive issues with their GS PSUs, and so on.  They also don't acknowledge issues until the problem is too big to ignore and they're facing blowback.

I feel exactly the same, it's like such an arrogant response.  Though now they see the "insignificant number" is actually not so insignificant anymore so they've posted a new message on their facebook page.
